Arkham City Insertion Fail

So, you know that part where Wayne is getting put into Arkham City? I'm stuck there. I get as far as Wayne, Ryder, and Political Prisoner getting inserted into Arkham City. The gate opens all dramatically, revealing.... an empty courtyard. my first question is, Where are the prisoners that are supposed to beat up Ryder and TRY to beat me up? afterwards, the PP and Ryder get knocked t the ground by.... nothing. seriously. there's dust flying from the ground like there's a helicopter in the area, but there's no damn helicopter! Ryder and PP are getting beat up by thugs that I can't attack because they aren't there! After a while, the thugs on the other sides of the fence appear, but none climb the fence. and I seriously can go to bed, and sleep, because other than the helicpoter, now visible, flying away, nothing happens. help?

From what I remember Ryder and/or PP died (or got knocked out) in that part of my playthrough. When you walk through the gate, you're supposed to immediately see lots of thugs behind the fence hungry for violence, some of them start to climb over, you fight them, and then the handcuffs break. Are you sure your comp meets the specs of the game?

IDK of PP, but Ryder just got the hell kicked out of him.

How do you get it to work if you can see the prisoners on the fence and there is no one there but they are hiting Ryder and the PP person is dead. I can get it to move on from that. nothing is working for me.
