Don't buy this on PC

Unless you're willing to put up with installation problems, non-working saves, broken as ♥♥♥♥ GFWL, and a snailpace Steam support around christmas. I spent 7 hours ingame only to have my save not work and i spen upwards of 6 hours trying to repair this broken cluster♥♥♥♥ of software.
If you're gonna but this game, get it on console or not at all. It just isn't worth the hassle.

GFWL + SecuROM and Steam... That's just too much. I was going to buy it on a whim, since I'm not a fan of Batman, but it looks alright for the price (and Catwoman), however, I can't in good conscience support that level of paranoia or laziness.

tbh it took about 5-10mins to go through the intallation and drm issues. after that you have a fantastic game. am i missing something here or am i a very fortunate customer?

Beef - you're fortunate. If I recall correctly, it took me several days to get a working CD-Key out of Steam that GFWL would then recognise. Had no problems with SecuROM though, actually never have.

GFWL itself works fine though, I don't know why everyone makes such a fuss, and if the CD Key issues have been sorted then it shouldn't be a problem for anyone.

It's pretty much one of those things, for me anyways, where once you've been burned enough times, that's it, no more. It's not a thing of principles for me, just, enough poor luck to say, "that's enough."

Don't listen to Naked Bistro, he's just crying a baby fit all over the forums for the DLC not being able to be purchased individually. The game installed fine, and plays great. Securom is to the point of being practically invisible once it's installed, and the issues with GFWL keys are not Steam issues, since the GFWL codes are issued to Steam by... GFWL! Go figure. GFWL is a shame on any installation, but it does not stop this from being a can't miss release.

dont listen to the guy i bought the GOTY and its awesome i havent had any problems at all ive also installed and added the mod that allows me to play as nightwing/robin in story mode and it runs great

GFWL works awesome for me on windows 8. I can talk to my Xbox 360 friends, buy games fo the 360 from my PC, view achievements, view friends status all the works.

It's not GFWLs problems, it's steam for not realeasing the NEW drivers for it with the games they sell.

i've tried to log into live, and it wont let me, says it has to update and restart game. when i restart game it just keeps doing the update over and over. so im kinda in an endless loop

I was going to purchase this game and then I noticed that it used SecuROM. There's absolutely no need for this crap when you buy a game on Steam.

Did you install the new version of LIVe from the website? (The one steam ships with is OLD)

I'd just uninstall GFWL redist. And marketplace, then install the fresh new copy from Xboxs website.

I've have gfwl games not installing because the m$ site is down, so much can go wrong installing this, and even after installation when one of the drm layers deletes your save because their drm made a mistake of thinking your a pirate.
