3rd-party DRM: SecuROM? No Thanks!
I would buy this in a second but I refuse to support any company that uses additional DRM. I know I'm not alone in this.

Remove it and we'll talk!

If you purchase this on Steam that would mean that there are 3 different levels of DRM. That's insane by any measure. At least the Steam DRM gives you some value; news, forums and helpful links; for having to install the client software and it's fairly reliable and unintrusive.

It's too bad the gaming industry doesn't create Steam versions of the game that rely on only the Steam DRM. There are a few titles that I would pick up in a hearbeat if they dropped all the extra DRM, this title being one of them. The game looks great!

I don't mind GFWL.

But I hate instead, SecuROM, which puts restriction on the number of installations / activations... .WTF????

On top of that as far as I'm concerned one of the early versions of SecuROM destroyed one of my drives, back in the day when hard drives were somewhat more expensive than they are now.

I hate GFWL for many reasons but this game is worth the BS. Honestly one of the best games I've played in years. If you're not going to buy at least watch the game on youtube (don't forget the easter eggs).
Game PUBLISHERS please read:
-DRM only hurts the customers that pay for games (fact)
-GFWL has been outed as faulty, unsupported and its seemingly used to dissuade people from buying the PC version of a game, hoping consumers choose the console version

If you want your games purchased, don't include malware with them, my PC environment means too much and I'm guessing that INFORMED consumers feel the same way.
Hasn't this been proven over and over and over?

Steam is DRM, yet it allows us the ability to play games in offline mode in a seamless way.

Batman amongst a few other stalwarts is one of those DRM'd games that I will not purchase until they strip their games of malware. Do this, PROMOTE THE FACT that you did it and watch your sales catch fire.

Nothing more pathetic then reading artlicles from game publishers complaining about sales for a game as if there is no interest in it or as if its made poorly (reflecting on the genius' that wrote, illustrated, and coded it, probably costing them jobs over sales when consumers stayed away from puchasing over DRM/GFWL rather than a good game).

Yeah, I saw the 75% special today, and, $7.50 for this game is an absolute bargain...but like others here, I wouldn't buy it for $1 if it's got SecuROM or any other 3rd party DRM on it.

Wake up WB.
