it keeps crashing

everytime i play arkham city after a while it suddenly crashes
can someone help me?

Got this game recently, played for 4 hours so far, and have had no problems. I know that doesnt help, but what might help is if you post your PC specs. Then some bright lad might know why.

I have a similar problem, and I get massive framerate issues in the city and sometime at random. Computer Specs:
CPU: AMD FX-8320 (8-Core, 3.6 GHz)
Montherboard: MSI 990FXA-GD65
RAM: Corsair 8GB 1333 MHz
GPU: Sapphire HD 7950
SSD: OCZ Vertex 3 120 GB
HDD: 1 TB Western Digital
PSU Cooler Master 500W

also have issues, I saw someone post that disabling Virtu MVP would do the trick, but I don't know how to do that...

you will notice that most of the problems arise NEAR water or somy areas, so you might try reducing the detail a little, also if you have enabled 3D ( or installed it with your Nvidia drivers) you might want to remove or turn them off. That might help.

I am getting the crashing problem as well. It often does it in the cut scenes but never in the same spot. The crash is so bad I have to unplug the computer to reset it. The power or reset switch does not work.

Well my issue was resolved by going onto the Nvidia site and having their java app scan my computer for missing drivers. Turns out I was missing one. Now I have not experience a crash since and I have happily beaten the main story line.

What do you have your GPU fan set at? It may be a heat issue or not. But games would crash on me if I forgot to set my fan at a high enough rpm.
Just a thought.
