Help me gamers, you're my only hope.
I've bought and installed Arkham City GOTY. When I start it up, I'm hit with a dead white screen. I can hear the NVidia thing and the title music, but all I can see is white. I can't even ctrl-alt-del out, because the screen stays white even after I try.
Now, my PC can run more advanced games no problem, so I don't think it's a hardware thing. I'm frankly stumped. Anyone got any ideas?

I dunno. It runs Skyrim and Bioshock:Infinite perfectly on High graphics.

Did you try modifying your settings insetad of just starting the game? You can't modify video settings after starting the game itself, you gotta choose "modify settings" as steam gives you the option. It will bring up like an autorun menu, there you can change any video options. Try varying them, the default resolution may be too high.

Right, maybe something like screen size.
