How can AI go through mud so fast? :O
I have 4 wheel drive, locked differentials, use winch, tried with tyre pressure low or high, low gear, tried different supension and tyres and i still struggle a LOT to pass mud parts while AI just flies past it, maybe I am doing something wrong

depends a lot on the vehicle....lock up, lower your tire pressure, get some boggers, then try diff vehicles, some are a lot faster in the mud with the same combo of parts

Same here, only the Super Open Class goes trough mud without any problems, all the other cars are very slow.

I cant even beat the first event in Thailand, I always get 5th or 6th. I try my best, lowering tire pressure, lock up diff. Is there any way I can drive different cars to beat that event? Because I'm stuck on the first event. I'm so bad at this, I always get so fast and accidentally drive through the checkpoint so I get penalty..

How did you guys beat that?

Stuck on the first race too, always get stuck in the first mud pit but then on the 10th or so attempt it goes through it just fine and I end up in about 6th, not sure why it always gets stuck so much to begin with.

I hope this helps you win the first race; if you get stuck at the first bump–and you will–quickly pull yourself out, use the winch. Race as usual but at least keep your car on the track, so you'll not get a penalty. For the second lap, drive on the other side of the track. This is important–I think–for not driving on the same track.

ie; if you drive on the right side on the first lap, for the second lap, drive on the left side.

Its okay if you dont get 1st in the first race but make sure you are doing okay for the next race. You'll unlock the next car eventually, so drive that car and try to win the first race using that car.

I also find that using different car for different track is helping me win the race. So, try other car too, dont stuck with only one car.

yes the turtorial is awfull. I map my .lower tire pressure=LB .Raise Tire pressure=RB
.accelerate=RT .Brake=LT
Also i mapped shift=y( this is used for picking a tree to winch to ,and winch Power)Also the left click of the thumb stick selects the tree you want to winch to. So if a tree is glowing green press shift and right on the d pad and it moves to another tree.
The one thing the turtorial dosent fully explaine is the winch. I can explaine it if you wish. Or are you stuck on another aspect like the big mud hole. I was in the same situation as you.
I didn't even know you were suppose to power the winch lol. I do now.
Also the tutorial tells you to press the wrong keys.

ah forget about that one. Ya, always lowering the tire pressure if its a mud tracks.

It took me a while to work it out.

I ended up doing fine on it with just a tire change in the end. Didnt get stuck at all. Just trial and error and finding out what works I guess.
