epic idea for new class
i have this idea for a new class
a micanic it could have a pistol or somthing like that as a wepon. every so meny shots you wouldnt be able to shoot for a couple seconds the hire the tear the les this happens. then the special could be constuct and you would turn into a construct and have super hi defence. if there was eny constructs near by they could heal you.
i think this is a good idea dose eny one else?
and by the way if an admin sees this my user name is ninjaeater so if you use this you should name somthing after me. :)

i was thinking the wepon could have a little more range than a bow but not as much as a staff.

I love the idea but the specail shood be used as a destruction for gods, this will help wen pot farming
I asked Tangsoobb if I could rewrite this, and because he said yes here it is without the mistakes and with a bit more info. The only thing I take credit for is typing this up, not the idea for the class.

Class name: Mechanic
Weapons: Guns/pistils
Armor type: Most likely light armor (like that of rogues).

Initial Stats Gain Per Level Average at 20 Base Stat Cap
Hit Points 130 20 to 30 600 700
Magic Points 100 2 to 8 180 252
Attack 10 1 to 2 40 75
Defense 0 0 0 25
Speed 12 0 to 2 30 50
Dexterity 14 1 to 2 35 75
Vitality 12 0 to 1 25 40
Wisdom 10 0 to 2 20 30
Wisdom and MP are the lower then other stats to keep people from using the special over and over to keep from dying. Dex and Att are high as this class would use guns, guns shoot fairly fast and do a lot of damage to the target. Vit, spd, def and HP are at a seemingly reasonable average.
I bases these stats off of the average stats of archers, rogues, assassins and huntresses as they seem to be similar to Mechanics.
Equipment slots and starting gear
Weapon: Steel Pistol (explained below)
Special: Construct of ___ (explained below, can't think of a name)
Armor: None
Ring: None

Mechanic weapons:

The mechanic would be able to use guns as weapons. Guns would be able to fire at a range somewhere in between that of a bow and of a wand. Doom bows have a range of 7.2, and Conducting Wands have a range of 10, so the UT gun would have a range of around 7.8-8.0, the lower tear'ed guns would have a shorter range and do less damage. Guns would shoot a single, medium-high damage shot at a single target. The draw back to this weapons is that guns need to be reloaded every so often, every so and so many shots you will stop shooting (even if you hit the button it wont shoot) and 'reload' the gun, which will take a few seconds, longer for longer tear'ed pistols. The number of shots the gun can fire until it needs reloaded depends on the tear, for lower tear'ed guns it would probably shoot around 10-15 shots before it needs to be reloaded, for higher tear'ed guns it would be able to shoot say 40something shots then need to be reloaded.

As for cool UTs, the gun gives a lot of freedom. You could have a shotgun type gun that fires multiple shots at shorter range for less damage, a snipers rifle shooting one really high damage shot at long range, or a rocket launcher that fires one shot that impacts a group of targets (although I think that last one is stretching it a bit XD).

Mechanic Special:
The mechanic's special is a construct. The construct uses high amounts of mana (at max MP you'd probably only be able to use it once, maybe twice in a row). When you activate your special, it increases your defense by say 5 for a T0, and 15 for the best construct in game. The increase in defense would only last a few seconds though, a shorten amount of time for lower tear'ed constructs, and a longer amount of time for higher tear'ed constructs. In addition to giving the one who activated it a bonus to defense, it also heals nearby (and I mean almost standing on you) allies a small amount of health. It does not however heal the person who used the special.

Constructs offer many different things to play with when creating a UT/high tear'ed item. You can change the time the ability is active for, the defense it gives, the MP it uses and, the range in which it heals allies, and the amount it heals nearby allies.

I think that's pretty much it..

guns arnt a bad idea they have draw backs and advanteged like all the other wepons and the pirates in pirate caves already have them!

I reckon there should be a Berserker class. The player could have extra health and and an axe and when he attacks he does double damage. He should also be able to take 25% less damage from Melee attacks while he takes normal damage from ranged attacks such as bows and staffs. He should be unlockable at level 15

@tgans Guns are awful idea, and they don't belong at game style at all. The whole game has that ancient-stye and this would just ruin it. It has been suggested many times and every time it has been laughed at.

I don't really understand idea. We already have paladin that has damaging which doubles his damage. There is also no melee attacks and ranged attacks in this game, and it can't be from staffs and bows as it isn't PvP.

We already have ability that doubles your def, we already have abilites that heal, it's not that gread of an idea.
