Shotgunning Mobs:Fair or Unfair?
My 2/8 to 3/8 chars have been slaughtered by shotgunning enemies COUNTLESS TIMES anybody think they are a bit OP?(this meaning horrific creature, leviathan, eye of the dragon, and those skulls in final battle cemetary)

The comments that i am reading now make so little sense,i admit that recently i have been able to dodge more things on the original list, but WHAT THE ♥♥♥♥ IS WRONG WITH YOU GUYS!? I am sorry for bursting out but really? What i am talking about are those unexpected ones, random sphinx spawned mob just walked over me at level 20 yesterday.Just don't be such ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥s saying it's easy just don't

Its a ♥♥♥♥♥ not to get shotgunned as a knight. Considering all of his ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ attacks have to be up close. >_>

Yes stunning enemies helps but the knight's mp and wisdom is garbage so you can rarely use it. Some lunge at you without even the slightest hint of them coming at your face.

if you can dodge a wrench you can dodge a shotgun

I agree that this Eye of the Dragon seems a bit OP, but only because it combines wicked high speed with its deadly shotgun. The rest of the enemies have very predictable attacks. The more experience you rack up, the better you will react to these surprises. If you have trouble with knight, max defense. You will laugh in god's faces as you eat their shotguns and ask for more.

Here is my proposal.
Simply put, Max def and learn how they attack with the shotguns. I play knight OFTEN and can easily dodge shotguns due to this. Its a good idea to constantly stay moving also, Just hope you dont lose your character to lag like I did this morning.

Once you learn how the enemies attack, you can dodge everything. Literally everything. Play more, die more, get more skill. Then max def and you will realize how easy this game really is for knights.
And if you're not playing a melee class, you shouldn't be so close that attacks are "unavoidable" in the first place.

Too bad about the whole permadeath thing huh?

My take is that shotgunners suck for close-range classes that haven't had a chance to get their def up, but long-range classes should not be letting those enemies get that close.
