Economy and dupe

I used to play RotMG a lot a year or two ago. I stopped playing when the dupe exploit became rampant and it took a lot of the fun from the game. I was wondering if the economy has ever recovered from it? Was thinking of maybe playing again but really don't want to waste my time if it still hasn't recovered from all the exploits from back then.

Well the dupe stopped (maybe idk no 100%), like every ut basically soul bounded.

Hmm so can't trade ammy and what not anymore? Sad as it is I had almost as much fun trading as I did fighting.
