[SOLVED] General Technical Issues Report Thread
Hey guys, thought it might be a good idea to collect issues and bugs in a single thread instead of in dozens seperately. Please also post your system specifications! Maybe we can help Team17 to improve the title.

Don't post personal opinions here please! This thread is not about gameplay or features.

I'll start:
Game launches normally and I can set up the options without issues.
Worms and the whole landscape won't appear in-game. Only water and hats are visible but they clip through other objects.

Specs:
Windows XP SP3 32 bit, Intel E7400 Core2Duo @2.8 Ghz, 4 GB RAM (limited because of 32 bit of course) and an ATi 4830HD.

I've just updated Direct X and the game just doesn't lauch...
What are your system specifications and is there any error message popping up or something?
here are some problems "vertical sync not workin even if enabled, AA isn't working, after every single player level game crashes. thats it so far for us. hope this helps.

specs windows 7 64bit, 6 GB ram,I7 720QM 1.60Ghz, Ati mobility 5730,
I posted my specs in my thread. AFAIK, the only problems that I'm having are the same as yours, but I've also noticed that the video files are also skippy and I tried to join a multiplayer game and couldn't find any hosted games... I hosted one and waited about 2 minutes and nobody joined me.
Worms logo and "Press Enter to Start" text appears. Game runs very slowly; about 1 frame every 3 seconds. Background is black, no graphics. Pressing enter causes the game to crash.

Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo L7500
Graphics: Intel GMA 965
RAM: 4GB
OS: Windows 7 x64

The DirectX June 2010 redist is installed.
Haven't tried it on my PC yet, but on my sub-par lappy with Win7x64, AMD E-350 dual-core 1.6GHz, 3GB RAM, and Radeon HD 6310 the game runs choppy with shadows turned to low (haven't found/figured out how to turn anything esle down yet) and there is considerable mouse lag both in the menus and in-game, as well as 'space-lag' I guess; lag between pressing space and my weapon powering up.
No error mesages. The game just don't lauch at all.

The comp is a Dell Inspiron 580 i5 CPU 4go RAM 64bits with Window 7 and ATI Radeon HD 5450
The game crashed three times for me due to "files missing" and it tells me to redownload the game from steam, though i can restart it and do the same actions but then it works fine. It seems to be entirely random.

Specs: Gigabyte Motherboard, AMD Radeon HD 6800, Intel Core i5-2500k @ 3,3GHz, 8gb RAM. Windows 7
I cant play the game keeps closing by himself, everytime i launch it again its on the same first mission and the game shuts down again seriously WTF is this?
Mines don't instantly explode when set to instant.
Every second game, doesnt load textures correctly, shadows look like stripes, I have low fps, sometimes crash.

I have ATI graphics card
Have posted this in another thread, but might as well note this here too
(Seems a lot of the people with problems are the ones with ATI graphics cards - unless most people have those)

When I try to play a match, all the worms and landscapes are invisible.
All I can see is the background and the Worm HP labels

Also, there seems to be roughly a 1 second lag when I try to move the mouse cursor

Running on:
Windows 7 Ultimate N Service Pack 1 (32 bit)
Intel Core 2 Duo CPU @ 2Ghz
ATI Mobility Radeon HD3470
3GB RAM

I've heard that Worms Revolution doesn't work well with Intel graphic cards/integrated graphic chipsets- to the extent that it basically doesn't work with them at all.

I have a Vostro 3450 with 2 graphics cards- and I can confirm the game is not compatible with Intel integrated graphics. The game immediately crashes right after displaying the team 17 logo at a very low framerate when I play it with my Intel chipset card. (A Mobile Intel HD Graphics card)

It launches and runs fine on the AMD card I can switch to.

However, the game's quite unstable even when it seems to be running fine. It tends to freeze and crash anywhere from 30-60 minutes after launching. I've played the game for about 3 hours at this point, and have had it crash about 5 seperate times at various points during gameplay. :(

I have heard of some issues with this game and ATI/AMD cards... But other than the relatively frequent crash rate and questionable shadows, the game runs fine on my laptop.
