I NEED A REPLY My copy of Worms Revolution is crashing on the load screen URGENT!
Okay, I am pretty ticked off at the minute. I have just spent my money on a worms revolution, I have installed it and i have the right specs. I have a sticker thing on my laptop telling me my laptops properties, I have everything needed except I am confused. It says I have a intel HD graphics 3000 installed, but when I open up computer properties it says I have a intel HD graphics family. I have no idea if they are the same or what? i dont know why my computer says one thing whilst the sticker on my laptop telling me my specs says another. Anyway, when I open up worms it starts to load then just closes itself. No-one has any answers to this and it is so frustrating, so can someone please help me out, because I just spent MY OWN money on a game which keeps crashing. I went to update my driver but it says it's up to date. I tried installing another graphics driver but i have no idea how any of this works. So please, can someone please help me out! I am only 14 years old and I really dont know ow to modify my computer so please keep the answers step by step and non confusing
*edit*
Can someone please help me! Please!
I shall just add that my laptop can run left for dead 2 but not worms revolution? retar*ed much?

it's called intel graphics family because some people have an HD4000 instead and intel is lazy.

if your laptop has switchable graphics (if it has integrated graphics like HD3000, and another more powerful dedicated nvidia or ati card) read this link from the top.

If not, skip to the bottom post.

Okay, I get to this page http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&keyword=intel%20hd%20graphics%203000 and i download the top one, but then what do i do?

you should run it and follow the instructions.

if you click start and type device manager, then press enter, you can find your full pc spec (and hopefully with proper names) If you look under "display adapters" here, you can see what graphics card you have. If you actually have more than one, the thread i linked should help you.

Okay, I just installed and double checked. I have intel hd 3000 instead of intend hd family graphics now. But unfortunately worms still won't work. I get past the first loading screen and when it says 'press enter' I press that when it then crashes a few seconds I to that loading screen! I also have another question, now that I have just downloaded intel hd 3000, can I download intel hd 4000? I really don't wantto break my computer but is it possible for me to do that? Is that what I am supposed to do? Keep upgrading my graphics driver so then I get Intel 5000 and 6000and so on (when they're released) or will that break my laptop. Also Kyle, what do you mean? I am guessing what youre sayng is that you have a really good pc and you can't run it? If so, have you only just encountered this issue and have been playing for a while? Or have you just Dow loaded it like myself? Plus, does anyone know if a patch is being worked on yet, and even if they know the existence of this bug?

Intel HD 3000 is part of the "Intel HD Family Graphics".
3000 or 4000 is your hardware model, so if you got 3000, then no, you can't update to 4000.
I have HD 3000 and updated drivers from Intel, and the game still won't play, so just wait for a patch or ask for a refund.

Just so you know:
Intel 3000 is your model, so when you want drivers, you NEED to install the adequate ones. When drivers are updated by Intel, they STILL will be called "Intel 3000", but the version number will be different (eg. version 1.05.92, then 1.07.15... those aren't real version numbers, I just made them up).

Okay, so when will I know when they've been updated?

Great PC same GFX card as you. If you use acer I know the fix. Acer is releasing the right update for the Intel GFX driver next month second week.

try not to get people's hopes up too much, or at least link some evidence of what you've found
