I figured I'd try hitting up steam support to see if they could do anything about the bug. It took them a while to actually get to my ticket, but I figure I'd copy the whole thing here so others can read it.
TL;DR: Steam can't do ♥♥♥♥ about it. Bug the developer/publisher on their new site.

There is a bugged achievement for Puzzler World 2 ( http://store.steampowered.com/app/200130/
). The achievement "Colouring King" which requires you to "Complete 10 Colour in puzzles" will not trigger no matter how many of those puzzles you complete. The only people who have achieved it used the 3rd-party "Steam Achievement Manager" to get it, but I'd rather not use such a program.
Attempts by me and many other people to contact the game's support are all largely ignored. The last update to the game was Oct 27th 2011 (And the game was released Oct 24th 2011), almost 2 years ago, and it was a hot-fix immediately post-release to fix a game-breaking bug. It is assumed by the community that the game has had its support abandoned for the most part by the developers/publishers in favor of the iOS/Android market as seen by their website. The developer "Ideas Pad" was bought/taken over by "playdemic" sometime in 2012/2013. Likely support was abandoned during the merger.
Is there anything Steam Support can do? I understand that you likely cannot patch the game itself, but would it be possible to change the achievement trigger or remove it all together?
Some trivial information on the achievement's requirements: The puzzle in question (Colour In) requires you to complete a different puzzle first (Link-A-Pix), and if "Colour In" is not chosen as the extra puzzle after "Link-A-Pix", the puzzle called "Pairs" is chosen instead, with the chance of it being either puzzle being 50/50. If you can tie the "Couloring King" achievement into triggering at the same time as the "Pick A Pair" achievement that requires you to "Complete 10 Pairs puzzles", people will end up getting the "Colouring King" achievement approximately at the right time it should have triggered.

I have already checked the steam forums. Everyone suffers from this problem. It's a bug within the game itself.

We have already attempted to contact them. The support email for Puzzler World that steam has goes to firstname.lastname@example.org, but there's a problem. IdeasPad was bought/merged into the company Playdemic, and neither the ideaspad nor playdemic support emails will respond to this bug.

Considering that the steam client handles some of the achievement stuff, could you please just tie the bugged achievement into another similar one so that while we don't get the achievement the proper way, it is still achievable?
