Can't open Quantum Conundrum!

Everytime I launch the game, it runs the steam service where it installs the Microsoft VC redist package. After this happens, it closes, re-opens the launcher and run the steam service again. This continuosly repeats and it doesn't run the game. Please Help!

Trust me, I've been though this too, except for me it launches the game but goes no further than the Main Menu and starting cutscene before popping up an error reading that QC has stopped working.

for me it doesn't even open the window

Same issue here, says 'running', cannot close, even with task manager. Cannot return, as steam thinks I have been playing for over 2 hours.
