This game is a "total" reboot ?
Is this game is a reboot like the last Tomb Raider was ?

Well, it's not a continuation of any of the previous games, as far as I can tell.

Unfortunately, it pretty much ends with a "to be continued", which never happened.

It was planned to be a trilogy but wasn't commercially succesful enough to warrant it. Shame, really, because I enjoyed the hell out of it.

I agree. I really liked it too. IMO it is the best POP game since The Sands of Time. I think POP (Jordan Mechner's POP) is more about the "myth" (something forgot in WW and T2T) and this game is all mythical. And all the storyline and battles seem to pay a homage to the classical games.

This game came out years before the reboot of Tomb Raider. As for a reboot of POP, I do not know. It was supposed to be a trilogy but Ubisoft cancelled the series after the DLC (also known as the epiloge) was released.
