Save games completely missing?
I have recently installed a new harddrive and installed 64 bit OS to it, and then made my original 32 bit harddrive as a secondary. I installed steam and copied over Prince Of Persia, everything was fine other than my save games were missing. So I started steam from my 32 bit and the same problem occoured. I looked shell:personal\Prince Of Persia\saves and it was empty?

Anyone know why? And if I can some how recover them? Thanks.

I'm kinda worried about starting any other games.

Well, on my box, the saves are in my Documents/Prince of Persia. Which means they would be deleted if I installed a new operating system on top of that.

From the looks of it, you've kept your old disk -- which is good. It's probably there -- check out the Users/... directory on that disk, and descend down to the Documents folder.

No offense but none of that helped. That was exactly where I have been looking.

Go to shell:personal\Prince Of Persia
That is the link you just stated but in another way.

Sorry I don't know how to help. Did you try contacting Steam Support?

I was wanting to see if I can get anything here first.

I have tried that too by asking people if they are having the same problem as me or if they can help me but so far I have had to do that (twice) I didn't get any help (comments about how it was happening to them to but not able to help). Mine have been game errors (cannot save after a certain point in the game [Dues Ex: Human Revoluation - Director's Cut] and a glitch in the game happens and I cannot continue because of the glitch [Remember Me]) and I have had to go to the game publisher website and contact support there. Just sent them in a couple of days ago so I am still waiting to hear back from them.

I wish you luck on recovering your save files.

Thank's, it's not much of a problem seeing I have played the game through before.
