Is it worth buying? (On The Fence)

Hey, I've been considering purchasing Settlers 7 for a while, but I can't definitively tell if it's a game I'd enjoy. What are some of your opinions? Also how much freedom does one have in the game?

This isn't Settlers 7's forum but that game has a bad reputation and low scores in general. It's hard to tell if the low scores are from the game or the very bad Uplay mandatory system which is often broken preventing access to the game. Caveat Emptor

The Settlers 7 is fantastic! It's an excellent game and one of the best in the Settlers series.

Settlers 7 is a fantastic game with a reputation screwed by its DRM. But it IS fantastic.

I bought Settlers 7, regret it. Doesn't even work for me. I can play for short durations before the game eventually fail.

ok at first...gets boring real fast..not many things to build, no map builder, boring campaign

The Settlers 6 does not have multiplayer support. If you are looking to play with a friend don't purchase this game. The servers have been shut down and the LAN gaming feature does not work.
