Is DG2 like that too?
I really enjoyed DG1 but at some point I think its getting annoying that you have have to build 36 green gun towers only to block the paths in a way that wont get mobs to your cores and/or to the exit too fast but come on, some of the maps are just rediculous. I love this aspect of the game but yeah, too much is too much. All that would not be too bad if the AI of the towers wasnt as dumb as WoW players back in the days (cant focus fire and never seem to attack the target they should be attacking) Best example I can give is the seekers, every single owers stops attacking it to kill whatever they spawned, where the f is the logic in that?

Is DG2 like that too?

BTW: Check the Steam Store .. there is a FREE DG2 Demo ... no cost to you to play it for FREE and see if you like it :)

If you are building a 100 towers, you need to revise your strats.
Most maps can be finished with 10 to 20 towers. You havea lot of space to practice different layouts, develope a choke point to use as a kill zone. Most maps you shouldnt have to use more than a quarter of the space.

If you do the grinder maps, ok sure you may use more towers and make longer paths, thats part of the fun.

Edit, towers usually focus on the faster targets to kill them before they break thru your defense.

I can finish or finished pretty much every maps I tried but I'm talking about gold medal videos, not all the maps but a bunch of them are that way. If you have better strategies you should make videos, I'd love to see them:) And towers should focus on the seekers IMHO, not their summons.

It still holds true with getting gold medals on maps. Build and spend the least to get the most out of your strat to get gold medals. The more you build, the less rewards you get at end. And there are so many strats that work, making another vid wont do any good as there are tons of them already available to watch.
Its also about timing, the placement or upgrade of your build to get the most out of it.

I'm going to have to look again then because most videos I've watched, people just build biga$$ rows of gun towers just to divert their paths. I much prefer the maps where you cant build on paths all that much but instead you have to build in the right curves or intersections. Anyway I'll get over it :p

Look in this thread as these are the top players showing their strats and scores. No cheating or using the score exploit is allowed. Many screenies showing their layouts and sometimes a word of advice on their insights to getting better scores.
