I started playing the game in English and noticed that there was no voice acting, but since the quality of the game was so high I was a little surprised that they didn't implement voice acting when even adventure games in the early 90s had it.

Luckily I know german as well, and switched the language in the steam game options. It downloaded a bit more, and now it has voice acting.

So I recommend playing this game in German if you can understand German. It totally makes the game better.

Also as a feature request, the game should allow subtitling in English but with German voice acting, similar to watching Japanese anime with english subtitles.

Uh, you have a technical issue apparently. It has full English voice acting. Maybe try switching it back and it will load the English voices, or verify files.

I had to turn voice acting off. It's a much better game without it. The quality of the voiceacting is just so terrible at times. It really distroys the immersion. ESPECIALLY the voice of the protagonist. Which is a bit of a problem.

I fully support the idea of adding the option to use English subs with German voiceovers. As of now it's impossible to do even by mixing files from different versions as it breaks the game's scripts. :(

Indeed the voiceacting is terrible from time to time. Well I think everyone else is ok, but YOU who is speaking the most...my ears bleed! No wonder he's depressed...

I'll have to try putting it on German with English subs, because the English clown voice is really irritating. It doesn't help that other people mentioned it previously because now I notice what they are talking about.
