SFM crashes at startup
Before I opened up SFM for the first time, I decided to merge the contents of the tf folder for SFM with the contens of the tf folder in the game's .gcf file, assuming I would want to use MvM models someday.
Big mistake.
When I open up SFM,I get an error message that states, and I quote, "CSceneFileCache: Bad scene image file scenes/scenes.image" and the application closes. I have no idea what that means, but if anyone here does know I'd like their help.

As stated in the error, in the folder scenes the file scenes.image is either missing or corrupt. If your usermod folder or whatever mod you are using doesn't have such a folder and/or file try copying it over from somewhere and see what happens.
Also for new tf models you just need to copy the material and models folders from the .gcf.

But I copied the entire contents of the .gcf folder. What am I supposed to delete?
Also, if you're talking about the scenes.image file in the tf folder in SFM, it's one of the bazillions of files I copied from the TF2 tf folder.

I isolated the source of the problem to /usermod/scenes/scenes.image by changing it to scenes.image.bak. Is there any way to repair the file?
