The tutorials are the best things to watch. I also hear there are audio tutorials in SFM somewhere.

Ultimately the most important tutor is yourself. Spend time familiarizing yourself with SFM and play around with its capabilities. See it as learning to play an instrument: in the beginning everyone is well… ♥♥♥♥. Only the ones who persevere and keep practicing ever get good.

Yeah, downloaded it a while back to have them handy, still look through them when I need to.

You can't expect to learn anything just by "looking through" it.
It's like learning how to draw, you can get tips and basic stuff down, but you really need to teach yourself and play around with things.
