Unlocked Lock
I locked a Scattergun to a Scout but all it does is shake up and down when I make him run. I'm 99.99% sure I locked it correcty. You drag the weapon_bone of the Scout to the weapon_bone of the Scattergun, right? I did that and like I said, it just sakes up and down. I try other locking something to an Engineer and it worked, however.

you just drag the whole model. click on the scout, drag him to the gun. then slide the zero preset and that should bring them together.

That didn't work. Any other ideas?

Is the gun's animation set selected when you drag the zero slider? Also, are you in motion editor mode?

No, and yes.
Lock the rootTransform and the weapon_bone of the gun to the weapon_bone of the scout.
Select both the rootTransform and the weapon_bone of the gun.
Switch to motion editor and drag the zero preset all the way to move the gun to the weapon_bone of the hand.

No, and yes.
Well there's your problem. The gun needs to be selected.
