Which are you looking for? The smoke, or the flare itself?

I want a pyro with the scorch shot taunt who just shot a flare and I wanna see the flare with the fire or smoke effect like this http://img202.imageshack.us/img202/3135/kj3o.png
The flaregun trails are in tf/particles/rockettrail.pcf, called flaregun_trail_blue, flaregun_trail_crit_blue, flaregun_trail_crit_red and flaregun_trail_red.
Well, the flaregun shell (that Pyro loads to his flaregun) is w_flaregun_shell.mdl
If you want some effects, you need a particle system - it is in rockettrail.pcf file
