Better Shaders
I recently saw this pic: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=171223660
and wondered how the artist made this nice shaders and light effects. Does anyone know this?

Well I work now for three years with Photoshop but I never heard of a function how to change the shaders or light effect from a 3D object in a normal image. I don't think you can do it in a program like this, It must be in a program where I can import the sfm file or in sfm itself.

Is there a known tutorial how to do this with after effects?

Actually, the more I look at it. looks just like a couple lights with volumetrics turned on. aperture set so the background is a little fuzzy and some rim lights.

Sorry but what are "volumetrics" and about what program are you talking about?

spawn a light, right click it, enable volumetrics. it's basically that smokey/misty effect on lights.

and by outside programs I was think of gimp or photoshop.
