Well I don't expect you to be staying with SFM for much longer if you aren't prepared to put in a few hours of watching the TUTORIALS MADE SPECIFICALLY BY THE CREATORS OF THE PROGRAM TO TEACH YOU.

Sfm is like Photoshop or 3d max. You can't learn it in a single sitting. It'll take you a few days. (Two weeks at max, for you.)

Are you working through it by loading the tutorial files that are on your computer?

Ok, get a youtube downloader and down the tutorial you want to work on. Say 13.3. Save it to your computer so you don't have to go to the tube everytime you want to watch it.

Now, open SFM and open session C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\SourceFilmmaker\game\tf_movies\elements\sessions\tutorial\13_3_pose_to_pose.dmx

This is the raw file for that tutorial. Use it to work through the video.

All the tutorial files are there.

I'm definitely not the best SFM user, but...If you have something to ask, I will do everything to give you an answer, be sure. Hope I will help, Puzzler.

you said you don't understand pose to pose animation... Okay, then i am curious about your current level of knowledge. Do you know the basics of how to move models around the map? For instance, do you know how to at least manipulate a ragdoll model into an initial pose and place it somewhere on the map?

i had typed out an explanation of pose-to-pose animation but then realized it's possible you may not even have an understanding of the basics of the program so i deleted the post.

The thing is, trying to bring someone along one on one is a hard task.

Reading a statement like
The Outsider 17 Aug 2013 @ 11:49pm nah too long :3

leads me to the assumption that he wants to be able to create something like Zach's Turret Anthem without researching anything.

Sorry, this is not a plug and play application. It's going to take time and dedication to learn. I'm willing to help anyone learn, but not if there is no effort on the other persons part.

This is a you get what you put into it type application.
