My model turns bright when he takes a step?
So I have a project currently that involves a sniper taking a simple step to the left. The problem is he takes this step and his entire model instantly becomes brighter.

Here is a side-by-side comparison: http://i.imgur.com/oRqp0er.png
On the left is my normal lighting, and the one on the right is when the sniper takes a step to his left (literally a millisecond goes by). It looks very bad in motion and I can't have that in the final product. This problem is not caused by my lighting, it's caused by the environmental lighting. I tested this by turning off all of my lighting and playing the same clip. I think he's stepping into a small ray of sun light and the game is calculating his entire model as suddenly being in the sun, and it's driving me nuts. Is there ANY way to fix this?

What sucks is it's very important for him to be in this spot. Without this spot the concept of the entire video just doesn't really fit anymore.

I'm not sure if this still works... but if you can, try it.

EDIT: Nevermind, I got it working!

He skips a step in his video.

If the model does not contain illumPositionDag then simply right click GameModel and click Add illumPositionDag, then right click it and Set Element > DmeDag.

That actually fixed my entire issue right there, but if anyone reads this in the future just keep following the steps in the video if it was not fixed for you.

Thanks Berry Punch for the link to the video!
