info_particle_system inputs
Have we figured out how to send our own signals to info_particle_system yet (probably using a script like the one that allows animation of skin-/bodygroups)? I have a custom particle that uses a
Lifespan EndCap Timed Delay
operator that, in the particle editor preview, kills the subsystem shortly after I press the "Stop Effect" button, but it doesn't do anything when I import the entire system into SFM. My best guess is that SFM signals the end of a particle system differently, and that if we want the
StopPlayEndCap
signal that I think the operator looks for, we'll have to send it ourselves (or maybe even a simple
Stop
, if SFM coded that completely from scratch; I don't know anything about how things actually look behind the scenes).
