Got a Another Problem
So, I figured I'd post here first before Facepunch, this answers quicker.

So, I've been messing around alot in SFM lately with GMod Models. But I ran into a problem with a particular model: http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/?a=view&id=16170

That one to be exact. It loads fine, no missing textures, but when I try to use the sliders to face pose him, IT DOESN'T WORK. I'm looking to find 1 of 2 things, a fix, or a link to another model similar to this one but with working face posing. (I don't want a link to the SSBB Link, that one has a weird really dark black patch under his mouth) Help is appreciated. :)

Regards,
Natolikin

Yup, that's the problem with some of the GMod models. Some work perfectly, others, no eyes, no facial abilities. Mostly because they are designed as NPC models.

But is there a way to fix the model? (Like decompile the MDL then do something? I dont really know, thats why I posted in the first place) Plus, this model was never intended to be an NPC.

Sorry for the last reply, It was all I could say until I had a look. I downloaded the model to have a look at it. I did decompile it and the bone structure is all wrong and the flexes have no reference mesh assigned to them. There are no finger bones, the intent was to control them through flexes by the look of it. It's really messed up inside and would take a major overhaul to get it to work. (Something I haven't time for right now, I'm working on another project.)

Got the facials and the finger flexes to work. Open the .qc and find the line

$keyvalues { prop_data {"base" wooden.large }

(should be on line 120 of the qc.)

It's missing a closing bracket. Change the line so ir reads

$keyvalues { prop_data {"base" wooden.large } }

Once you've done that save the qc and recompile the model. Close SFM and restart it and load the model. The flexes should work...

Still haven't gotten the eyes thing down yet...

Might be able to get the eyes working. It's amazing how ONE LITTLE MISTAKE can cause such humongous damage. Thanks alot :)
