How to edit a MTT video?
How do I edit Meet the Heavy? First time I used SFM (months ago) I could do it easily, but I forgot how.

If you've forgotten, then it's back to sourcefilmmaker school with you... Rewatch the tutorials, it may bring back some of that forgotten knowledge...

Here's the link

In what context are you refering to when you ask this question? Edit the animations? Or edit the shots, sequence, and timing it's self?

The MTT sessions (the ones released anyway) are located on your harddrive, you can find them here

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SourceFilmmaker\game\tf_movies\elements\sessions (then the MTT that you are looking for). You load them as you would any other session and start editing from there. Remember to save your work as a new filename, or you'll overwrite the original MTT when you save.

Have you watch any of the Source Filmmaker Tutorials or any of the Jimmer Lin's Tip of the Day Tutorials??

Let me get you started...

You can also follow these tuts along in SFM, the Tutorial DMX files are found on your hard drive
here
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SourceFilmmaker\game\tf_movies\elements\sessions\tutorials

https://www.youtube.com/user/SourceFilmMaker/videos?sort=da&view=0&flow=list (watch these in order 0 - 13.3)

When done, start on these... Any order, just pick from the problem you're experiencing...

After watching these and you're still having problems ask a question here.

Is there also a way to edit other mtt's?
Pte Jack Jan 26 @ 11:41am
To change the skin from red to blue, In Each Shot, Spawn a new HWM engineer. Change it's skin from red to blue, Lock the original Engineer to the new one and zero the slider. Click the eyeball beside the original in the animationSet Editor to turn it off. (You'll have to do the same for the Sentry_1_SFM in another shot because it also will not change skins.) You'll also have to go through each shot and reapply the phonemes from the Engi's monologue to the new blue Engi...
