SFM can't start, various errors!
When I got Source Filmmaker, there was a major problem with launching it.
1) When I tried to launch the SFM, here's the error I received,
This current mod is from a different directory than your exceutable. This can be caused by running a tool from one product while the current mod is from a different product. This mod can be set from the SDK.
(Path: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\SourceFilmmaker\game\sfm.exe)
(VGAME: c:\program files\steam\steamapps\common\alien swarm)

2)So i figured when I got that, i needed to launch the SDK to solve the problem, until...this happened......
qsdklauncher.exe - Entry Point Not Found
The procedure entry point AddProfileForThread@CVProfManager@@QAEPAVCVProfileThreadEntry@@PAVCVPROFILE@@I(Capital i)@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library tier0_s.dll

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP?!

As I asked in the comments of the vid you watched, Which SDK did you launch, the one pinned to the Launch SDK tools on SFM or the Source SDK tools from the Client Tools menu?

SDK tools from the SFM which led to the second error.
I don't have the Steam SourceSDK but have the Alien Swarm SDK, is that about the same?

Nope,

I have Alien Swarm, but I have not installed the SDK for it, so I don't know if this will work for you. BUT,

For the moment, uninstall the Alien Swarm SDK. Then in your Client, go to your Library. Bring up All Softwares where it say All Games.

Right Click Source Filmmaker and select Properties.

In the pop up, select Local Files and the select Verify integrity of Application Cache.

Let it run all the way through. Close Down EVERYTHING STEAM... Including the cliem and then restart Steam.

Try to start SFM again.

If it starts without problems, then reinstall the Alien Swarm SDK.
If it doesn't let me know what error you get when you get it.

Try SFM again after the Alien Swarm SDK finishes loading. If it doesn't work then you know that you'll have to uninstall the Alien Swarm SDK whenever you want to use SFM.

I've already deleted the Alien Swarm SDK before this

just verified again, and nothing but the same error. ARRRGGGHHHH! This might also be a good time to mention that I am running it with all Minimum Hardware Requirements on Windows XP.

Doh!!!, it is quite possible that you simply can not run SFM on your current machine.

look what i did was launching the sdk, resetting the game configurations and then running sfm from the sdk. Hope it helps out

You did notice the part where i said i'm running sfm on windows XP right?
