Does 3dCoat TF2 exporter make the art asset pipeline any faster?
If I understand things correctly, assets that are already in source engine are easier to get into the SFM. Does this apply to the assets you export to TF2 with 3dcoat? I wasn't sure if that goes to the engine or if there was more to it. You cant rig a character in 3dcoat though to my knowledge so this would only work for static meshes, right? Has anyone tried this? Any limitations or related info is welcome.

look at what you get on export. if you get a .mdl file, some vtx files, some vtf and vmt files then you should be ok.
