making particles visible when tonemap is 0?
So I turned the tonemapscale down all the way so that I could use my own lighting but it seems that the particles aren't visible now because it only reacts to the map lighting? How can I fix this but keep the low tonemap?

Particles don't react to any lighting of any sort, they have fixed brightness. Turning tonemapscale down to zero will make them full black, no way around that. It'd be best if you used an unlit map (like black_void or character_lighting_map, or a custom made one) instead.
