Robotic Boogaloo Items?
Just wanting to know if the Robotic Boogaloo Items are usable in SFM yet. Last time I checked, I had over 13000 models, and now i only have well over 6400... why? :o

Not quite sure why that's the case. What method are you using to get the models into SFM?
Creating an Animation set for the model! For some reason, I dont know which files are missing, all I know is that I had 13,080 and now I'm down to 6,433.

In the sixty-four hundreds sounds about right for the stuff that currently comes with SFM. Did you use to have custom models that aren't there anymore? It just seems to me you had created mods, and they were removed from gameinfo.txt in an update.

Check your gameinfo.txt file and you'll find that it was reset after the last update. If you had added content to your searchpaths, you'll have to readd it. Once that is done, make a back of it so you'll have it when another update comes down the tube...

If you want to keep your SFM up to date with your TF2, it takes a bit of legwork.
Go to Steam\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf and open these files with GCFScape:
- tf2_misc_dir
- tf2_sound_misc_dir
- tf2_sound_vo_english_dir
- tf2_textures_dir
If you don't have GCFScape installed, this is the part where I tell you to do that.

For the tf2_misc_dir, only extract the maps, materials, models, particles, and sound filders. In every other _dir you can extract everything in them.

The location where you want to extract these resources is: Steam\steamapps\common\SourceFilmmaker\game\tf

This will keep your SFM's models, sounds, etc. up to date with whatever current TF2 version is active at the time.
