I dont have a mass relay but these are a couple versions of the Normandy that I've found before:

Normandy SR1 (Mass effect 1) http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/?a=view&id=89698

Normandy SR2 (Mass effect 3) http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/?a=view&id=129101

Thanks, How do I put them into source fillmmaker?

Just download the files and and place them inside the source filmmaker usermod folder:

Steam > steamapps > common > sourcefilmmaker > game > usermod

The downloads should have folders in them labeled models/textures/etc, just merge those with the ones in your usermod folder

hmm, that's interesting that there is no mass relay model because essentially every other model in existence from all 3 games has been ported to Source. Perhaps there is one buried in one of the various prop packs available...

The closest I was able to find was this from the Garry's mod workshop here on steam, but I'm not sure how to transfer it to source filmmaker with the way downloading workshop items works.

oh, good job.

btw you can extract the content of the workshop file back to regular .mdl formats with a little app that can be found on the Facepunch forums i believe it is called "Gmad converter". Google search should locate it but you have to find a correct version that actually works as some of them are outdated or something.

So I need to extract them back to .mdl files to make them work in SFM?

sort of. the .mdl files and all that are still there, gma is just their version of zip or rar. the "converter" just extracts them.

yeah it's very eZ aS long as you have the working Gmad version. It's just an .exe that you drag the gma workshop file onto then it creates the folders with all the .mdl and material files for you, then you put them into your SFM usermod like you would any custom content.

but you know... if these models exist as a gmod workshop item i would be willing to bet they previously were available for gmod the oldschool way somewhere... just have to look around.
