Working Woes
I tend to lose motivation when animating.

How do I regain my confidence/motivation/non-procrastination?

Depends. If it's for practise, animate something that interests you. Don't just animate boring movements, challenge yourself.

focus on shorts. something you can knock out in a sitting.

I have the same issue. I can get burned out on things. thats why my major stuff is taking so long, because they are longer, more complicated vids. so I break it up with short things.

Work on a few posters related to the vid you want to make. Different time periods of the vid. Then work the animations to join the poses in the posters... (kind of like a storyboard)
