How do you turn your player model into a robot?
I want to make a MvM orientated film, but I don't know how to simulate the robots. Help? Information on how to put items on your character would also be helpful.

do you mean to record yourself as a robot?

Yes

you can't

the best you could do is save your entire motion editor animation (Right-clicking on the green layer and pressing copy) then load an mvm robot model and paste your animation in

Then how do people make their Mann Versus Machine films? And I've done that before, it breaks the model most of the time.

They'd probably load up the mvm robot models and load a sequence, giving them their game animations without actually recording it.

How does it "break" the model?

Bones that the robot Scout has are missing from the normal Scout, and it makes the model look really weird.
