Are the Source Filmmaker size is too big (HDD) ?
Don't you think that the size of SFM is too large ?
I have enough capacity on my HDD but it doesn't mean that it must occupy much of this (
13 GB ... wow !
so much of the superfluous conent that I don't need.
Because I use my own content I need only editor and a few tools and plugins for Maya.
It would be great if pre-maded source games content could be downloaded separetly.

you could just delete the stuff you don't need. the program isn't meant by default for power users making their own content, it's made to be usable out of the box, as it were, for just regular people. then from there if they want to expand into custom content they can.

It's hard to say that people who already could install SFM on their computers are regular ))
don't you consider like that raptornx01 ? )

if you mean sfm users are a little, weird. I wouldn't argue with that. XD

as for comp's ability to install it. eh. i'm running a wal-mart bought pc with no upgrades or modifications of any kind. and it runs just fine for me. and I have about 100gb of custom content and ports from other games.

I also think it'd be best if the assets were available as a separate download, instead of being forced upon you when you download the program. But if you think 13 gigs is a lot, you might want to get a bigger hard drive. Most games weigh more than that these days, with some taking as much as 35 gigs.
