colored light with no intensity?
Hello there,

i want to make a colored background light and put my models before it, so they are black, the problem is that the backgroundlight is "eating" the model, like it's really bright, but i want just a colored background with full black models like the ipod videos, is there a way to deactivate that effect?

Something like this?

Besides shifting the background's colour and adding the text, for which I used Paint.net, everything was done in SFM. I used a few green_plane.mdl (which are unlit and therefore remain green even when there is no light), and I modified the shotgun and buds' materials to be unlit as well and link to a pure white texture.

To answer your question though, which if I understand correctly is "how do I disable bloom", just slide the bloomscale slider on your camera's animation set all the way down (if your camera doesn't have an animation set, just make one, by clicking the down arrow by the camera's name below the viewport, and choosing create animation set).

the best map to use is dark void. it has no light by default without having to turn down tone map scale, but those planes. http://sfmbox.com/green-screen-props/ will look as though they are lit.
