Animation issue with smoothing
I tried to block out some animation, but when I smooth it out, the character spins before transitioning to the next block instead of smoothly transitioning.

Top is with blocked out animation, bottom is when smoothed: http://imgur.com/a/UqJW7

1. I'm assuming that I need to re-block it out...but if there's some way to salvage it without needing to re-block then that'd be great.
2. Is there any method to block out animation that will NOT cause this to happen? This is the second time it's happened to me, and quite frankly, it's a little frustrating. What I did both times was block out the beginning pose and the end pose, and then fill in the middle poses. I'm assuming the spinning is caused by using the end pose in one of the middle poses as a base, and then the next middle pose using the beginning pose as a base, then using the end pose as a base in the next...

Any help would be appreciated.

Are you using keyframes or motion editor? If you were using the motion editor for this, you may have had the first animation smooth into a static animation, and then you adding in another animation for the end and merging it would mean: Animation, Transition to Another Unwanted Animation, Animation, because it's merging them all. If you get what I mean

I think I see what you are saying...I'm using the motion editor. I didn't even know there was a keyframes..editor. (?)

Not sure what you're expecting to happen, I mean, she's facing the opposite direction in the third frame, so of course she's going to spin...

Unless she's meant to make a full turn instead of stopping mid-turn and spin the other way? In which case you'd simply have to add a frame between frames 3 and 4 where she's facing like halfay between them, the round preset would then adjust the motion to match better what you want her do to. That's if you still plan on using pose-to-pose, which you seem to be doing here.

Yes, she was supposed to make a full turn instead of stopping mid-turn and spinning the other way. Hmm, I'll try what you suggested then, thanks.
