Broken Models

So, when I first started using SFM, I wanted to modify the skins of the Sniper and Medic .mdl models for a poster ... But when doing so, I accidently, permanently, modifed them completely without backing up my files, as it didn't occur to me at the time...
Now that I wish to use SFM once again, I would like to try and fix this problem - would anyone have any tips?
Note :I know some will say that I should just re-install the program but unfortunately I am unable to do so for a while yet... :/

Verify your application cache. That will only redownload what was modified.
