Old SFMphys version
Hey awesome filmakers,

Does anybody have old SFMphys version on their drive? The latest one doesn't work for me (objects receive simulation but it always falls through whatever falt object I place under). So, I`m looking for previous version of this awesome script. Please share!

Thanks

P.S. or if you know how to fix god damn bug with the floor would be also highly appreciated!

Go to HLMV and see if your model does or doesn't have hitboxes. I've been told that SFMPhys relies on hitboxes to act the collision....

Try the big long flat combine wall. that's the piece I always use and works fine.

Actually I think it's both the collision model and the hitbox.

Alright, I did the following:
1) I've performed a clean install of latest SFMphys on two different machines.
2) I've used the same objects from your tutorial: haybale and combineinnerwall. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tHfEP0UVkzQ
3) I'm applying phys rig to haybale only. Wall is just rotated and placed as obstacle for the haybale.
4) My test is simple: haybale should fall down on the wall.

Result: on two different machines damned haybale going through the wall model down to infinity and beyond (tm).

I don't know, maybe there some dependencies which needs to be installed in the system?

You changed the kinemetics on one right? (i always forget which is which lol. but one makes it fall, the other leaves it stationary) though if the wall is stationary it should mean you did it right. hmmmm

when it doesn't work for me a couple things i try is one, to turn the wall over (i think the hitbox on side is bigger then the other). also i try raising the bale higher.

the fact it's working at all should mean you shouldn't need this, I believe the most recent version had fixed the issue, but if those don't work also try applying the fix i mention here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cgHdij5-jNI

Hey, you, the googler wandering wtf is wrong with SFMphys, dont be as absent-minded as I am when watching tuts. The solutions:

The wall must have a rig applied as well as a falling object but with Kinematic handle all to right. This will make it a part of simulation and a static part of it.

Thanks rap!
