SFM- closes on opening Pt2

I had opened a discussion before on the same subject but no help could be done, maybe someone else could help me out here before you ask i have contacted steam support and it sill closes on opening. Heres the dilema: When i open Source Filmmaker It closes on opening i can tell from my task manager and my avatar other games, expecially source mod games, do the exact same thing; games like: PVKII, The Hidden, Golden eye Source and last of all Tactical Intervention. I have tried to validate the files and after that it said the following: "158 files didn't validate" so does ths mean i have to re-install SFM. Please tell me your ideas.

If files didn't validate then it should automatically redownload them. Is it doing this everytime you try to validate?

No, sometimes it says its all validated the next, some files are not.

SFM pretty much always says it has files to redownload, that's normal, think nothing of it.

If your computer has a history of not letting Steam games start, then your problem must lie elsewhere. Damned if I know where though.

One of the reason I believe that it does this is because it trips over a custom file that is named the same as a regular file that SFM knows about and the crc doesn't match, (even thought the original still exists, maybe???) and re-downs the original. Don't know....
