These items end up in your Game\workshop\models, maps, paarticles, scripts, etc folders
If you aren't seeing them when you launch SFM, check your gameinfo.txt file and see if you have a game workshop entry in the searchpaths area of the file. It should be the last entry. if not, add it and save the file.
Use a file browser to get there and double click on it, scroll sown to the SearchPaths section and see if Game Workshop is there. If it is, just close the file, if it isn't add it as the last entry in the section following the example of the game {whatever???} above where you're entering it.
IF you cahnge the file save it.
