Usermod Folder not appearing?
For some reason, I can't seem to locate my usermod folder when browsing for models. So not only am I not able to get custom models working (unless I simply put them into my TF folders), but I can't locate any of the models or fixes that were downloaded through the workshop.

I tried searching for solutions on this forum, but the solutions that I found didn't fix anything.

Any solutions?

Well Cap'n. if you DON'T have a usermod folder, then you CAN'T run SFM. If you CAN run SFM then you MUST HAVE a usermod folder. pick this up and drop it into a file brower address bar

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\SourceFilmmaker\game\usermod

Apologies, I misphrased that. I do have a usermod folder, but when I search for it (to create a new animation set in SFM), none of the models show up. When I look for it under the tab (where you are able to see the different valve games to search through), neither the workshop nor the usermod tabs appear. It is strange since they always used to.

Have you edited your gameinfo.txt file lately???

Your SearchPaths section should look like this

SearchPaths
{
Game |gameinfo_path|.
Game episodic_workshop
Game lostcoast_workshop
Game tf_movies
Game tf
Game left4dead2_movies
Game dod
Game hl2
Game workshop
}
This is the base paths option, any additional you've added isn't here

Game tf_movies
Game workshop

Game hl2
Game usermod
}

Change Game USERMOD to Game Workshop , that should fix it

Then close and restart SFM

It didn't seem to work, neither the workshop nor the usermod folder is appearing.

Ok, now go to your SFM SDK and reset game environment (Usermod is or should be the mod)

The system environment box is what that action does, you don't have to change anything there
