How to apply chosen tangent for model in graph editor?
After using flash its easier for me to use blocking method animation, for blocking animation is easier in graph editor, but everytime I create new bookmark/frame the motion changes to linear tangent (I mean it creates moving animation). I'd like to ask if there's a way to apply step tangent to model/bone rather than selecting points in the graph and clicking step tangent everytime?

There is a selection in the graph editor that is selected by default that adds curves. Rendering at the moment so can't check which one. but it's the group of three or so in the center, with i believe the one in the middle selected.

you have to highlight a keyframe. then select step tangent (or press the number 4) then, the next key frame after that will be step. (but not the keyframe place before the one you selected)

You have to select it and press step or 4 at each keyframe.

you can also just key frame out the entire animation, highlight of them and select step. that wil translate all of them to step tangents and remove any curves.

highlighting and applying step tg keyframe every time is not that simple way, I get headache cuz everything gets mixed up, there should be somekind of option or probably ... a script.

You could always select all and do it. There's no Ctrl+A or anything, you need to drag your mouse to select a region.

as I say, pretty often I click on point in the graph and move it somewhere else, after that it gets mixed

Are you selecting one bone at a time? You should if you're not doing so already. The graph editor's quite friendly; it shouldn't really be so confusing.

all I want from the graph editor is build a sequence, like you would take a pictures of someone and place in video editor. Since I move the whole scout, I place one bookmark and edit bones. The problem is: each new bookmark it creates curve, well I could place bookmark and select all dots in graph and apply step tg, but it takes time, plus sometimes I need to fix things (such as bones go elsewhere I don't need). Deleting bookmarks and then again placing->selecting->applying_tg. Using that method will result in creating 5 seconds-video in in 5 days. I could easy animate video in blender using block method, because I can apply step tg there.

All I want to know if there's an option or the script or shortcut to apply step tg forever, so the body :p2blue:teleports:p2blue: to new position and NOT moves there with curve!

Just stumbled across this topic, and I don't know if you still need help with it, but from the sounds of it, the motion editor would be better than using the graph editor for this.
