Particles not working
Hi all,

I have a 3 min long shot with a lot of things going on in it. I also have a number of particle effects that happen (10, to be exact).

The strange thing is that a couple of the particles I created work fine after I scrub the time. However, after I save the project, quit, and then reload it, those particular particles are not showing up anymore. They are still in the Animation Set Editor, and the control point is visible in the view port, but the effects of the particle itself do not appear (even though they were working fine before I reloaded the project).

Does anyone know why?

This happened with me lately, but for some reason my particle became visible again when I loaded the same particle again to replace it.
it's a common glitch with sfm. I've had it before as well. saving and quitting, then coming back and the particle isn't there. aside from replacing the particle i haven't found a way around it.
It just happened to me again, and just adding the same particle makes it visible again
No, just add a new particleset that contains the same particles, for excample: if you got a muzzle_smg just add another muzzle_smg, and the first one should become visible again. Then just delete the new one.
I tried deleting the particles in question and replacing them with new ones. Everything was working fine, I then saved, quit and reloaded the project, and the particles were still working fine after that.

However, after I reloaded the project file a little while later, the particles are again not showing up...
Do as I said, then you wont have to pose the particles again and again
Thanks, that does make the particles visible again.
A question about this method, though: do you find that the particles still become invisible when the project file is reloaded, even after this is done? i.e. will I have to keep creating doubles of the particle sets in question every time I reload the project file?

Well, yes it does. I still haven't found a way to make it work permanently.
Ok then. Thanks for the help!
