Custom item showing bones only

I know this is the 2nd time this has happened and I've asked for help but I really don't know what I'm doing wrong.
I have the vtf files in "materials/models/player/items/soldier" and the model files in the same but without the materials. So what am I doing wrong?

Huh? Are you saying your model files are in the materials folder? And you don't have any VMT files?

R234: I meant the same way the path is without the matierals rather then type it out again and yes the vmts are there too. Its a case of also where the person who made what I'm putting in isn't that great with English and is saying he didn't need this stuff to put the item in the workshop.
