SFMphys help?
I want the Soldier to take out two robots in a single swing of his Equalizer. I figured out how to turn the robots into ragdolls at the right frames, but for some reason I can't get it to recognize the Equalizer as a solid thing that can knock the robots in a direction other than "straight down." Any suggestions?

did you set the equalizer in kinemetic mode? and are you sure it accepted the rig?

Yes and yes. The only other thing I changed on the Equalizer was setting "parentConstraint_weapon_bone - Handle (weapon_bone) weight" to 0 to keep it from awkwardly floating next to the soldier.[i.imgur.com]

it shouldn't float away at all in kinemetic mode. the movement should be the same as any normal model.

you could also apply it another model that is invisible.

If there's animation curves before attaching the physics rig, it freezes everything except the rootTransform unless I set the parentConstraint to zero, i.e. the robots "run" posed like a statue and the weapon hovers next to the Soldier instead of following his hand. Conversely, ragdolls don't collapse unless I leave the parentConstraint at the default of one.

EDIT: On a hunch I copied the samples from "weapon_bone" to "Handle (weapon_bone)" and set the parentConstraint back to 1. It now moves with the hand and the robot ragdoll responds to collisions[i.imgur.com], but now he's holding the pickaxe at the model's center instead of at the end. So not quite there yet, but making progress.
