Dissolve and character effects
Hi all,

I have a couple of questions and would greatly appreciate some advice:

1. I know how to apply a fade in/out to shots. But is there a way to apply other scene changes between shots (eg. dissolves, etc)?

2. Are there any particles that people can suggest for a tear/tears from someone's eye? I tried out the gutter drip, but it just looked odd.

3. How can I make a character look like they got injured in a fight (eg. a bloody nose, black eye, etc)?

SFM doesn't support shot transitions, you'll have to edit the video in post.
Thanks for the replies. I'll try out that liquid droplet.
Um, I feel like an idiot... I subscribed for that water droplet, and downloaded the model from the prompt box that pops up when I open SFM, but how can I find out where it was actually sent to? As for actually getting it into SFM, it's a custom model, right?

Everything you download from the workshop ends up in the common/SourceFilmmaker/game/workshop folder.
Great, got it working! Thanks.

Does anyone have any tips for having the water drop fall to the ground? I simply use the rounding preset to change the root transform, but that often requires altering the speed afterward. Is there an easier method for doing this?
