How to remove objects/buildings imbedded in a map
Hey guys Justice Retro Hunter over here, i have another question.

In the map "Kong King apartment" There are several buildings in the background outside the windows looking out from the apartment.

I want to remove those buildings in order to put my own buildings there. I would like to know what i would have to do step by step to remove them, or if it is a better idea to just ask the author who made it to create a version without them.

The buildings are baked into the map, so you can't remove them in SFM. Either ask the author to remove the buildings, or get dirty and decompile the map and edit it in hammer.
There is one other possibility. right-click the view and select "draw game entities" and uncheck some of the stuff that is checked. But be warned, there is no guarantee it'll remove what you want removed and it may make stuff invisible you actually want in the scene.

i see.

I tried decompiling, but it seems to difficult to me to learn yet lol >.<

i ended up finding a work around that looks nice. thanks for the help
