i need to use this grapics card, but im using intel hd graphics instead.I need to know how to enable this graphics card to source filmmaker.And dont say use the Nvidia control panel, i cant open that up for some reason.

Call the support line of your laptop manufacturer.

one thing I never do is give advise on how to do things in Bios... That's why you have your computer support line.

That's why I don't like dual GPU that's not SLI & CrossFire.
Yeah it's good for the battery but it just causes more problems.
If you buy a laptop with a 745m it's because you wan't to use it. not intel HD.

Use NVIDIA Inspector to disable Optimus (Optimus is causing the issue)

Why can't you open the Nvidia Control Panel?
My vaguest guess is that reinstalling the drivers might fix that? But that's where you should be changing those settings.

Try what Katana was saying. If you reinstall the drivers it will reinstall the control panel. So it might work.
